Biography

I am a dancer and choreographer from North Branch, Minnesota. As a mover and choreographer, I have devoted my artistic career to the language of movement and self-expression. I grew up dancing and performing competitively in the Twin Cities. This led me to the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists (SPCPA) during my high school years, where I delved into an array of dance styles, including Modern, Composition, Ballet, Break Dancing, West African, Jazz, Tap, Vogue, and Funk Styles. Currently, I am pursuing my BA in Dance at Gustavus Adolphus College, and I am actively engaged in faculty-choreographed productions and choreographing work for student-choreographed shows.

During my upbringing, I grappled with introversion and shyness, often finding it challenging to articulate my thoughts, feelings, and emotions with ease. When I discovered dance, I was drawn to its liberating nature and how effortlessly it enabled me to not only express myself but also feel genuinely heard. This newfound freedom became the driving force behind my dance journey. Throughout my journey, I have received awards for my performances in various dance competitions, including a distinguished choreography award for a collaborative piece crafted alongside Kelsey Hansted and Olivia Geffre. In all my endeavors, my ultimate aim is to use the universal language of dance to inspire and uplift others, transcending barriers and connecting with audiences on a profound and emotional level. I seek to leave a lasting impact on the dance world.
